Hey, I am Ishika and this is a list/display of the paintings I have done so far.
All of them are replicated/inspired from largely Pinterest pins or photographs. I started my journey with the Modernist around August of 2023, and somehow there has been no looking back since. I have always been grateful for the existence of art and how it makes me feel something and painting has been a huge wave of relief for me in not so great times. Would love and welcome suggestions on what to paint next!

For me, it’s a modern representation of Van Gogh’s (or every painter’s) life in the modern world. It is aspirational for all painters today as I see it. (beyond the romanticisation of torment)
“I wear suits now.” For me, this show has been one of the best storytelling experiences on how life and work operate, or maybe because I struggle & relate a lot with it too.
